I'm a Master student in Molecular Biology with emphasis on Molecular Medicine at the University of Vienna in Austria. My principal fascination is cancer biology with all its facets, particularly the molecular mechanisms underlying important properties of tumors including but not limited to therapy resistance, tumor heterogeneity, crosstalk between different cell types and quiescence. I am also very interested in developing and applying new technologies as related to finding a cure for cancer. Curiosity and drive for discovery have brought me into science and I still love learning new things and trying out new ideas (both in and outside of the lab). When I'm not in the lab, I like to lay back and relax with friends to recharge my batteries. I am a passionate swimmer and runner, which is not only a lot of fun but also helps me get my head free. Lastly, I really enjoy traveling, especially if it involves exploring nature.
