I am a clinical fellow in Gastroenterology within the Department of Medicine. I am currently in the clinical phase of my fellowship, but I will be doing research full-time starting January 2014. I obtained my MD/PhD at Stanford University in PJ Utz's lab. There I worked on developing and optimizing several proteomics platforms to interrogate immune responses at the protein level, including a new fluid-phase protein array platform termed high-throughput immunophenotyping using transcription (HIT). My general interests include dissecting the molecular pathways and cellular mechanisms that lead to autoimmune disease.
