I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from the renowned University of California, Berkeley. Subsequently, I pursued an advanced Master’s degree in Biostatistics and Data Science at the prestigious Columbia University. My professional journey spans over eight years in wet lab environments, dedicating approximately four years each to specialized research in a brown fat lab and an airway disease lab. Recognizing the transformative potential of computational methodologies, I transitioned to dry lab research, with a keen interest in leveraging machine learning and deep learning techniques. I firmly believe that these advanced tools have the capability to revolutionize medicine and propel scientific discovery to new heights. In the McManus Lab, my research merges high content image screening and AI approaches to better understand human gene function.
Away from the rigor of scientific research, I have a passion for literature, and I relish the thrill of working on and riding motorcycles. Additionally, gardening provides me with a serene retreat, connecting me to nature and offering a sense of tranquility.
