I am a recent UC Berkeley graduate with a BA in Molecular and Cell Biology, emphasis in Immunology. During my time at Berkeley, I worked in the Rijo-Ferreira Lab researching the effects of circadian rhythm manipulation on a malaria infection in mice. I am interested in autoimmune disease and infectious disease research.
Outside of the lab, I volunteered my time with Matriculate, an organization dedicated to providing free virtual advising to high-achieving, low-income high school students applying to college. I also taught an Introduction to Cancer elective to fellow Berkeley students looking to learn more about the intricacies of cancer. I am passionate about promoting educational equity and science, and hope to combine those interests one day by becoming a professor.
In my spare time, I love skiing, running, and knocking out a few NYT mini crosswords.
