I'm a rising senior at Lowell HS and hope to go into biochemical research in the future. For the past two summers, I worked at the Nuclear Engineering Department at UC Berkeley, where I wrote peak analysis tools for radiation spectra and created a local server for live-graphing incoming data from environmental sensors. However, I developed an interest in biochemistry and landed here at the McManus lab, where I'm currently cloning the human genome to create a library of recombinant destination vectors as a resource for gene therapies and future experiments. Outside of the lab, I play varsity lacrosse for my high school team and enjoy skiing in my spare time.
