I'm originally from New Jersey, but now live in New York. I earned my bachelor's degree in genetics at Rutgers University and am currently attending medical school at SUNY Downstate Medical center in Brooklyn. I just finished my first year of medical school there and will be spending the summer doing research at the McManus Lab. I was involved in two different research projects during my undergraduate career, one involving induced pluripotent stem cells and the other focused on the role of sirtuins, specifically SirT2, on DNA damage.
I'm interested in photography, traveling, and I love watching movies.
