In the summer of 2013 I became Dr. Al-Sady's first member of his new lab within the Hooper Foundation. Our research focuses on heterochromatin spread and the protein complex responsible for its initiation. Before I joined Dr. Al-Sady's lab, I was a member of Dr. Corbett's structural biology lab within the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research focusing on the structure of yeast proteins involved in homologous recombination.
