Originally from Philadelphia, I spent my undergraduate career at Middlebury College investigating the genetic basis of psychiatric illness in the lab of Dr. Clarissa Parker. Through this and a number of other research experiences, I developed an interest in neural stem cell differentiation, epigenetic regulation and the role of non-coding RNAs in neural development. Outside of lab, you can find me reading in local coffeeshops, sketching (poorly), cooking, or exploring one of SF's many parks.
