I am from Buffalo, NY and attended Vanderbilt (B.S. in Chemistry, 2003) and Berkeley (Ph.D. in Chemistry, 2009) prior to joining the McManus lab here at UCSF as a postdoc.  My research focuses on analysis of human long noncoding RNAs using both computational and experimental approaches.
