Bio:

Greg is a currently clinical fellow in Endocrinology and Metabolism in the Department of Medicine. He received his M.D. Ph.D and did his internal medicine residency at UCSF. He did his graduate work on T cell activation in Arthur Weiss' lab but his current interest is diabetes. His major current project is to perform whole genome RNA interference screens in pancreatic beta cells. Other projects include working with Hunter and Weronika on identifying microRNA targets and looking at features of functional small hairpin RNAs. When he isn't thinking about RNA, RNA interference or diabetes, he is thinking about how little golf he has managed to play recently.
