Bio:

I graduated from UC San Diego, where I obtained a Bachelors of Science in Human Biology. As an undergraduate, I worked as a research assistant at Moores Cancer Center DNA sequencing facility. Currently, I operate the Lentiviral RNAi Core. I make batches of viruses, provide company for the FACS Array and have the view of San Francisco all to myself. When not in lab, I enjoy baking and roaming around in the city.

My Project:

I run the lentivirus RNAi core facility. The core currently provides viral packaging, vectors for distribution and consultation to SABRE investigators, Diabetes Center members and the UCSF community. I am conducting optimization experiments to improve the quality of lentiviruses we generate. I am also working on expanding the services of the lenticore.
